Replacement of superheater 2 and 3

I/S Vestforbrænding has decided to make a replacement of the boilers SH2 and SH3 in line 6 and as option some of the panel walls in 1’pass/2’pass.

The tender comprises the following Works, but not limited to:

1. Engineering and documentation
2. Design, manufacturing and NoBo approval of part for SH2 and SH3, for both it includes top and bottom headers
3. Purchase of all material
4. Test and Inspection (NDT)
5. Transport to site at Vestforbrænding Waste Plant (VF) – Denmark DDP (Incoterms 2020) and include unloading on Site at a position specified by VF
6. Dismantling of existing parts of SH2 and SH3 to be replaced
7. Installation of the new parts of SH2 and SH3 and included options
8. Documentation

As scope of supply the Contractor shall estimate the expected lifetime for SH2 and SH3 after the replacement based on the operation data listed in section 2.1 Boiler plant and section 3.5 Expected lifetime of SH2 + SH3 for the two different cases, base case replacement of superheaters with Inconel cladded superheaters and Option 1 1:1 replacement of superheaters.

The work comprises all design and planning, necessary calculations, and documentation as well as approval from the Danish Working Environment Authority (AT), represented by Notified Body (NOBO) according to executive order from AT no. 99 from 31 January 2007.

 The approval must comprise complete workshop manufacture of the parts to SH2 and SH3, dismantling of existing SH2 and SH3, and installation of the new parts of the SH2 and SH3.

Before transport to site all open tube-ends must be closed with plastic endcaps.

Internal Mechanically/Acid cleaning of the tubes for the new parts of SH2 and SH3 tubes is part of the scope, and the requirement is described in 4.5 Internal cleaning of the tube.

Acid cleaning of the tubes shall take place before installation and delivery on site e.g., after preassembling in the workshop.

Before dismantling of the SH2 and SH3 blocking of spring supports and unblocking after completed installation is part of scope.

I/S Vestforbrænding will invite 3 pre-selected tenderers to participate in a direct offer according to the Danish Act on Tender Procedures. Other interested and relevant tenderers must contact Procurement Consultant Simon Haldrup Bartholdy no later than September 15th of 2023, in order to receive an invitation to participate in the tender and receive the tender documents.
